4th Premier Show held on
Saturday 14 August 2010
in Locharbriggs Community Centre, Dumfries
I would personally like to thank everyone who helped on the day of the show and all members who exhibited at the event, and a big thanks to Mr Jim Saunders for the use of his staging for the show.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Cowling for presenting the trophies on the day of the show and Peter Hill for running the Silent Auction.
The main prize winners were:
Paul Cook who took the awards for Best Bengalese, Best Breeder Bengalese, Best Champion and Best Champion Breeder with an outstanding pair of Dilutes.
Robert Dempster took the awards for Best Champion Adult with a lovely pair of Self Chocolates.
David Smith took the awards for Best Novice, Best Novice Adult and Best Novice Breeder with outstanding Dilutes.
Connor McKillop took the awards for Best Junior and Best Junior Breeder with a cracking pair of Self Fawns.
Jay Burns took the award for Best Junior Adult with lovely Dilutes.
There was 139 cages of birds entered with a total benched entry of 123 cages.

Unfortunately Connor McKillop was not at the event but his cracking pair of Self Fawns took the award for Best Junior and Best Junior Breeder
Best Junior Adult award was awarded to a new member for 2010 - Jay Burns with his lovely pair of Dilutes
